On December 23, 2025, the National University "Chernihiv Polytechnic" hosted an award ceremony for the scholarships provided by the Leonid Kuchma Presidential Foundation "Ukraine". This year, three students from the Educational and Research Institute of Electronic and Information Technologies were among the scholarship recipients. They were honored for their outstanding academic achievements, active involvement in research, and significant contributions to the university community. These scholarships are a testament not only to their personal success but also to their dedication to excellence.

Researcher at Chernihiv Polytechnic has been selected as one of the winners of the scholarship competition organized by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP) and Elsevier. The program aims to support Ukrainian PhD students and young scientists under the age of 35 who are committed to advancing their research in collaboration with Polish universities.

On 2–3 October 2025, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University hosted the international scientific and practical conference ‘Free and Open-Source Software in Education, Science and Business (FOSS 2025)’. For safety reasons, the event was held online. Over 100 participants took part in the conference. Selected presentations will soon be available on the university’s YouTube channel. The annual TURBO 2025 conference, ‘Higher Education, Capacity Building and Social Crises: International Perspectives’, took place on 22–24 September 2025 at Kozminski University in Poland. The event brought together leading academics and practitioners and provided a platform for discussing how universities can adapt to uncertainty, enhance resilience and foster social transformation in times of crisis. On 1 September 2025, as part of the ‘Freshers’ School’ programme, first-year students from the Institute of Electronic and Information Technologies at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University met with Yevhen Patlan, Engineering Manager at the international company Percona. Yevhen shared his professional experience with the students, spoke about current trends in the IT sector and the importance of digital skills, continuous learning and adapting to rapid changes in the technological environment.

As of 25 August 2025, 1,017 students had been admitted to Chernihiv Polytechnic National University has enrolled 1,017 bachelor's students (for comparison, 1,058 in 2024). Despite the challenging wartime conditions and the university's geographical location, the admission campaign was successful.

In the summer of 2025, the Department of Electronics, Automation, Robotics, and Mechatronics at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University conducted important work on upgrading laboratory equipment provided by B&R.

On July 16, 2025, the team from Chernihiv Polytechnic National University held an online information session presenting the opportunities of the WIN2EDIH innovative digital hub to representatives of territorial communities in the Chernihiv region. During the event, special attention was paid to establishing cooperation with specialists responsible for digital transformation within their communities.
