A team from Chernihiv Polytechnic passed a competitive selection process and joined the autumn cohort of the "YEP University Innovation System" practical program, run by YEP Accelerator in partnership with Nova Ukraine.
The program runs for 30 hours (1 ECTS credit) and includes online sessions on innovation ecosystems, acceleration, integration into university operations, legal issues, and intellectual property. Its goal is to help universities move from isolated initiatives to a sustainable, institution-wide system supporting innovation and startups, culminating in a Demo Day presentation.
The university's team includes Kateryna Hnedina (PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, startup development coordinator), Maksym Bolotov (PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor, Head of the Innovation Office), Serhii Stepenko (PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor, Senior Researcher at our institute's Department of Electrical Engineering and Information-Measuring Technology), Alla Kholodnytska (PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Director of the Tutoring and Mentoring Center), and Yuliia Shabardina (PhD in Economics, Associate Professor).
We wish the team productive work and success in building the university's innovation ecosystem!
