On March 31, 2026, students of group EM-231, specialty 141 "Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics" at our institute, visited several operating power industry facilities in Chernihiv and the surrounding region. The field classes were held as part of the courses "Electrical Equipment of Stations and Substations," "High Voltage Engineering," and "Fundamentals of Reliability Theory of Electric Power Systems."

Students examined the design of indoor and outdoor switchgear at various voltage classes. Operating staff from AT Chernihivoblenergo demonstrated switching operations on live equipment at a 110/35/10 kV substation and explained the specifics of operating high-voltage equipment.
