About the conference

The goal is to bring academia, industry and open communities together around practical use of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) in education, research and business. The event is hosted by Chernihiv Polytechnic National University.

Working languages: Ukrainian and English (materials may be submitted in either).

Format — online only. The Zoom link and details are provided below and will be sent to registered participants.

Participation formats

    All participants receive e-certificates. Submissions are selected based on thesis peer review.

    Participation is free of charge.

    Publication

    Accepted theses will be published in the conference proceedings (electronic edition with ISBN). Best talks may be invited to submit extended versions to partner venues (by Program Committee decision).

    He has extensive experience in open-source relational databases, working in various sectors and large functions. With over three decades of industry experience, he has led global operations teams for MySQL and ClickHouse customers and users. He's a known speaker at worldwide open-source database events.

    Recent achievements: Most Influential in Database Community 2022 (The Redgate 100). Co-author MySQL Cookbook, 4th Edition (O’Reilly Media, 2022). MySQL Rockstar 2023 (Oracle, MySQL Community). Enthusiastic about both cutting-edge technologies and knowledge sharing, Artem serves as a Software Engineer at Grammarly and a lecturer at Chernihiv State University, where he inspires the next generation of IT professionals.

    We invite students, PhD candidates, early-career researchers, faculty and practitioners to submit theses for Day 2. Submissions are peer-reviewed by the Program Committee.
