Three students from Chernihiv Polytechnic have been invited to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2027, taking place in January in Las Vegas — one of the world's largest technology events.
The selected students are Vladyslav Parkhomets and Liubomyr Yarmolenko (Electronics program, group G5), together with Yevhen Skachok (Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics program, group G3).
The selection was highly competitive: more than a thousand engineering students from across Ukraine applied, going through several rounds of evaluation and interviews. Only 60 participants ultimately received invitations.
The opportunity was made possible by Ajax Systems and its Ajax Next education ecosystem, with additional support from Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ukrainian Startup Fund.
The university noted that despite constant shelling of Chernihiv, power outages and air-raid alerts that often interrupt classes, instructors continue teaching and mentoring students — and this persistence allows local talent to compete on equal footing with the best in the country. The institute congratulated the students and wished them vivid impressions, valuable connections, and new ideas to bring back home.
